i just got on campus and set up my computer. they're making us install this thing that checks what antivirus we have installed (it has to be a campus network approved one) and checks to make sure we have automatic updates set to automatically install updates (this one pisses me off but i understand why they want us to have it). ok, those two i'm fine with, it's understandable that they don't want security risks on their network.

my problem is that it also apparently monitors our internet activity. how much bandwidth we're using and what we're using it on. it said something about making sure copyrighted files aren't being openly shared.

i was basically just forced to install spyware on my computer to use the internet. this pisses me off beyond belief. i used to have minor problems with isr but this is just too much for me. i don't need people snooping at the files on my computer. they need to gtfo.


oh yea. part of the policy says something about using obscene language or something like that. umm wtf? monitoring my language too now? (yea apparently they can tell that as well) please get the fuck out with that shit. if i wanted spyware on my computer i'd get it the old fashioned way. /lookuph4x&porn

Give it a little time. I'm sure someone will make a program that will spoof the monitor.

Does it monitor what you do outside of school ? o.O Isnt that an invasion of privacy or something

dont try and spoof this program i had it at school and i hacked it and now i dont have any accounts at school and i cant be near a computer or i get a thousand dollar fine n any hacking related topic comes up they come to me to talk about it

i did nothing wrong i only got told on and i pointed the fingure at the other guy so where both in the same contract there not sure who did it since they have no proof i did it =]
