Books

Yeah, lately the computer and being on my laptop all the time playing games mindlessly is kinda getting boring and I've been reading a lot more, but now I finished the books I have here and I want to read more. So anyone got any suggestions?

The last books I finished are the Black Magician Trilogy (really enjoyed that) and HDM (kinda confuzzling XD), and I'm generally into Fantasy, Sci-Fi and History-ish kinda things (like travelling back in time and er... *looks up title* The Clan of the Cave Bear).

^^

Edit: Has anyone read the "Age of the Five" trilogy by Trudi Canavan? I'm in doubt if I should buy these books, cause I don't have that much money to spend at the moment (and when I do I won't be able to buy English books...yay... XD). I did enjoy the Black Magician Trilogy which is also written by her, but the back of the books haven't really convinced me yet.

Chanters of Tremaris Trilogy. I love it, especially the last book.

Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, if you like something funny and weird like I do. lol

I like WoT! But it's probably too long for casual reading when you're bored. Try the Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I found both nice. Oh, and while Robin Cook is okay-ish too, some may find him trash.

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, if you like thinking deeply on the way society's going.

if you're more into lighthearted stuff... sadly, i have nothing.

Black Magician Trilogy? That the one with the street-girl who throws a rock at a magician in the first book and gets into their magic-school?

HDM = His Dark Materials? Ahh, memories.

I liked the books by Steven Erikson, though it's a lot darker than the above two listed. Longer too. It's Fantasy+Historical I guess.

Also liked Alison Croggon's Pellinor series.

Ooh, was that the one with the Singer of all Songs or something? Remember wanting to see if it was continued, but forgot the series/author name.

Yeah. Singer of all Songs is the first one. The author is Kate Contable. The last book, The Tenth Power, is the best in my opinion.

I'd reccommend His Dark Materials, and books by Christopher Moore. Those are great
