Best Mara KQ ever!
Alright, so here's wassup. It's late, about midnight so the KQ's don't insta fill ya know? I joined the Mara[A] becuase I knew I'd level from it. So eventually it starts and I start scrollin' up and go on my own. I've finished the quests and just wanted to have fun.
Well someone noticed that I knew what I was doing I suppose and invited me into their party which consisted of 2 clerics that were under level 20(no rez..), a lv23 mage, me(lvl 25 archer), and another lv18 archer. So as always I push forward skipping most of the mobs(not training with them >.>). My party gets wise and follows me and we do well.
About the time we get to the first 2 mid-way bosses I notice no one has caught up yet. By the time we get to the mid-way bosses they still aren't around. So I look up on the KQ list and notice we are the only team left. We have done good so far so I devise a plan :ninja:. I had the most defense so I said I would tank, told the mage to wait 20 seconds before attacking so I could build agro, and had the clerics spam heal.
To my surprise we do very well. Everyone is coordinated, everyone is doing what they are supposed to(Except one of the clerics who insisted he hit the boss once every 30 seconds..). So we get to the boats without anyone kickin' the bucket. I go up to get ready to lure and...
..we got the worse real boss spawns eveh! They were both on the far opposite corners. So we decided that we'll lure the close fakes first. So, what ends up happening is that I ended up luring the real and fake. Get this: The real one was kind enough to wait on the stairs while I lured and didn't attack no one. The gods were with us!!
So we end up getting both dead with about 20 minutes left. I haven't had such a smooth KQ ever and it was with only 5 people. Proves that good coordination will win out ya know?
I open the chest and then...
...
3 *$&^*@& health pots. The gods weren't with us >.>..
