Map Under Maintenance
 

well... after months of lurking ard here.. i've finally joined FF :D

so yesterday there was a maintenance, n i've already automatically downloaded the patch.. den last night, i tried to login but thz happens D:

i thought maybe the maintenance was still going on so i've waited till today.. but still same thing happened. i've also manually downloaded the patch, which didnt make any diff..
any1 else have gotten thz problem b4?

I havent gotten that problem, but this thread on the official forums might be able to help you.

You can try un-installing too. I dont know which you think will work faster, but hope this gets cleared up soon.

I believe there's 2 reasons when that happens...

1) The map is stuffed, if that's the case, then EVERYONE wont be able to log into that map.. (and you'll probably see some threads about it...)

2) Your connection is playing up... happened to me yesterday when my internet at home was laggy... I restarted the client, tried 2-3 more times and it worked...



What map is your fighter in? Try create another character to see if you can get in..?

well i've posted my problem dere too.. probably need to wait a day or weeks for GM to get to it. As for un-installing.. no thx.... i've uni-stalled countless times b4 thz for another reason (Fiesta.BIN error) if i'm un-installing again. den its b/c i'm nvr playing thz game again...


well i've created another 2 more char in same server (Epith) works fine, unless i clicked on my main, (the same error shows) and after that try to login on my new chars, i get the same errors on them too. only way to login to the new ones again is to restart fiesta...

i think i was last in eld, if not... den, i was in kq where everything lagged. and i had to restart fiesta manually (but i juz closed fiesta and didnt play again till 3-5hrs later which is juz aft maintenance finished)

I had that problem, I=and I just restarted my computer, ad it worked just fine.:smarty:
