so cable modem's out again
 

for the second or third time this week, though longer this time.

my aunt thinks part of the problem might be comcast deviously cutting us off for a while cause we're using too much bandwidth.

there's >10 things connected to the network:
4-5 laptops
5-6 desktops
2 wiis
iphone
ipod

half the laptops and desktops are running either limewire or torrents (limewire rant at end of post)

we have another network connected to a (unfortunately slow, like a 10th of the speed of the cable) modem.

SOME OF THAT CRAP NEEDS TO SWITCH NETWORKS AND GUESS WHAT, IT'S NOT GONNA BE MY CRAP. I SWEAR I'LL FILTER THEIR MAC ADDRESSES:hulksmash::hulksmash:

it lags me on s4 so bad, sometimes totally dc's me. like wtf?

i can freaking run torrents downloading at ~800kb/s while downloading a file through firefox at ~1mb/s and still play s4 lag free all on the same comp

Limewire does need to go...seriously...why would you even use Limewire any more? 90% of the files are either fakes or viral. Stick to torrents or usenet.

or download stuff from youtube.. if its songs your after that is o-o

I use Limewire for english songs. xD

Me too, yet it does lag my computer.

I don't download individual songs any more, I only download entire discographies from Mininova.

Torrents are the way to go.


If you must have a Limewire-like program for music and stuff, get Ares.
