Enhancing bug?
 

Just curious if this has happened to anyone else recently - I was enhancing my L66 helmet today and got the lucky +2 jump (went from +7 to +9). The only thing was I did NOT use a lucky Xir, it was with regular stones. I didn't have any lucky stones in my bag. I thought I did the same last week with a lix, but wasn't sure, lack of sleep dreaming of greenkies. Anyway, has this happened to anyone else recently, or am I just that good? :laugh:

Hmm I think I have heard or that before...

For some reason this makes me think of Loveless.. either it has happened to her, or she wanted it to happen to her LOL

I don't think getting a lucky enhance is ENTIRELY restricted to just using lucky stones, But it's probably completely ungodly hard to get.

Now what happens if you get the lucky enhance when you have a +8 level 95? :O :O

Ive talked with my guildies and found a common variable for this. When you use gold nines it also increases the chance of +2 on any stone, be it lucky,blessed, or normal.

I personally got it 2 times while enhancing a helgait bow. Got it with lucky lix(might have been the stone idk) from +3-+5. Then it happened again with Blessed Xir +6-8.

I always get this luck!

Your item becomes as useless as a brick (Seriously)

Bricks are useful for buildings and smashing windows though. D:

If you have a +8 and you get a lucky enhance, you should then contact a GM.


Because your game will crash.

I had that happen once, but my sword went down 2, not up 2...:cries:

ummm...yes it has happened to me too but it did more than +2 it did a jump from +6 to +9 no luckies at all. But hey im not complaining. And if u start complaining too much then they might get rid of it...myself i find it useful and it saves money ^^ :laugh:
