I see the forums has had a mixup!

" Archer
Long-range attacker, with options of holding the bow or crossbow. This class is used for its stealth and trap-laying abilities."
You found me! :3, Archer's can't lay traps! D:
Notice the wrong statement?

yeah. it says clerics can use long ranged attacks too XD

It takes the entire archer class in general there is nothing wrong with that. If you have ever been into Dragons Tomb you will notice there is an enemy called Nerpa which is an archer enemy like the archer class from Lv 110+ they can both lay traps. But Nerpas trap works a bit different from the archer class skill

When Nerpa lays the trap it completely blinds your screen for a few seconds

However the archer version only causes damage but you have to be careful when using it as the archer booby trap skill hurts enemies and party members so its better for the party members to be away from the trap when it goes off xD

Archers also get a skill that completely blinds the screen like Nerpa does but its called Blind Shot and its an arrow shot of course and it has a 5 minute cooldown.

But I have no idea about the long range cleric attacks though.

In another version of Fiesta the cleric does get a long range magic attack at level 80 something so that may be where it came from.

the class descriptions were written before cb even started i think so they come from another version of fiesta. i don't know if they're still there but there were also threads with skills lists that show how the skills were in the other version.
