Interesting article about the micro-payment gaming industry, which is pretty much the model that Fiesta has adopted (only on a larger scale).

But yeah that's a very smart model...

It's pretty smart, but it also can kill the game as a whole. Some younger people can't put in the money to play WoW or other P2P games, but older people see F2P game cash shop purchases as "small and minute" when compared to monthly fees that can be looked at annually ($180 a year for WoW).
