There's a game called Ninja Town, it's like tower defence but with cute ninjas~

Professor Layton (and the curious village or something like that) is pretty good if u're into puzzle stuff...

Trauma Centre is an interesting operation hospital game XD

There's the Advance Wars series. Final Fantasy Tactics is decent. Pokemon games?

my favorite game of all time's on the DS. it's called the world ends with you. check it out, it's got a great storyline, great artstyle, great music, great gameplay, everything. i can't reccomend any game over it, honestly.

Also, there's Chrono Trigger for the DS.
