Ugh =.=
Okay, so as you guys know.. I'm on a spring break. Well technically spring break ended at 12am last night but err.. anyways.
Almost every night during spring break I, of course, stayed up really late. Latest was 5:30am. BUT every morning my mom and step-dad would bicker and talk loudly and wake me up. Once I'm woken up I can't fall back asleep no matter how tired I am. So yayy me.. I expected to get a lot of sleep over break but oh no... :hulksmash::hulksmash::hulksmash: And my mom even tried to argue with me when I told her to get out of my room this afternoon. Me: -on computer, super pissed- Mom. Get out. Mom: Why? Whats wrong? Me: You and Jeffy already woke me up every day on my vacation and now I'm tired of you just barging in here. Get out. Mom: Well, its almost 1pm. How late did you stay up?! Me: It doesn't matter how late I stayed up. I'm on break. However, there's no reason for you two to bicker and shit EVERY morning. Mom: Its not our fault you went to bed so late! Me: HELLO. Its break. I told you guys before break started that Seth(Brother) and I would be staying up. We told you.... Mom: Oh well! -leaves room- When she realizes she was wrong or can't seem to find anything to say back, she just walks away. Sigh. I wish my doors weren't sliding doors and I wish I had a flippin' lock on my door. Srsly. I know most of you will disagree with me since some of you are moms and well.. the rest of you have never talked to your mother that way BUT keep in mind, I've never had a 'normal' relationship with my mother. /smallrantover |

Ugh, i understand how annoying mom's can be.
My dad is the favored one. I've talked to that way to my mom before, sometimes even worse. Sometimes you just wish you were 18 already |
Mum will always be your mum.. I dont think turning 18 will change the rules XD
|
I'm almost 20 and I'd get a hand across the face if I spoke to my mom like that ^^;;

is it at all possible to try and resolve your problems in a more peaceful way? i mean, i understand being annoyed, me and my parents have our fair share of problems with each other, but if being mad ends up simply making you even more exhasperated, wouldnt it be better to kindly ask her to leave?
idk, i'm probably being a hypocrite since i do the same thing, though... But meh, it might work *shrugs* |
LOOOOOL. That doesn't work with my mom. She has listening problems.
Again people, I have never had a 'normal' relationship with my mother. Especially not after 2007~ |
Hm... well, good luck with that. hopefully you guys'll be able to repair your problems *shrugs*
