I'm making Amish friendship bread D: Sadly I do not have any friends in this state. Pretty depressing to make me make it when my parents know I have no friends here. Here's what the directions say...
Day 1: Receive fermented batter in gallon zip lock bag. Do nothing. Day2: squeeze the bag. (do the same to day 5) Day 6: Add 1 cup of self rising flour, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of milk. Squeeze the bag several times. Day 7-9: squeeze the bag. Day 10: in large plastic bowl, empty batter from bag. Add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of milk. Mix well. In four seperate gallon sized zip lock bag pour 1/2 cup of batter in each. Label and date bag with day 1 and give to 3 friends and keep 1 for yourself. to Cook: preheat oven to 350 degrees and add to remaining batter: 1/2 cup of milk 1 cup of sugar 1 tsp. Vanilla 1 large box of instant vanilla pudding 1 cup of cooking oil 2 cups of self rising flour 3 tsp Cinnamon 3 eggs In seperate bowl mix 1 tsp Cinnamon and 3 tsp Sugar. Grease 2 loaf pans well and coat with the sugar and cinnamon (sprinkle the pans). Pour 1/2 the mixture into each pan and bake about 1 hour. |
*squeezes the bag for 3 days* fun n_N
