lol... they constantly make fun of twitter on the daily show... it seems rather pointless...

OMG I watched that the other day!! I read about Twitter in MX (this free newspaper thing we get here) where it said Jennifer Aniston broke up with John Mayer because he had a Twitter obsession. That article said that he told her he was too busy and couldn't spend time with her but she see lots of his twitters or something LMAOOOOOO.

But yeah, I've never heard of it either!!!

Everyone's Twitter-ing now. It's basically like Facebook status messages on caffeine.

Twitter is the end result of decades of "You're special!" self-esteem boosting. It has made a generation think that everyone gives a flying rat's ass about what they're doing every minute of every day. Seriously. You're really not that important. (Note: This isn't directed at anyone in particular, no one is THAT important.) Penny Arcade has a good comic on it, but I can't be arsed to look it up.

acctually, twitter could help law-enforcement drastically... why not force criminals to post twitters while on parol? then they'll get so addicted that they'll be forced to post "violetnly assulting someone with a bat" on their twitter account, speeding up the arrest process v.v
