Funds for character
I was wondering... What would be considered a sufficient amount of funds before I enter into the 20s. I'm currently lvl 17 and will have around 10s once I get all my bloody shield scrolls sold. Is 10s a sufficient amount of money to buy weapons and armour and such?
|
I don't remember exactly but I don't think that's quite enough unless you can get 'second hand' items. Plus you have to consider skills too that you'd be getting.
|
You'll get your level 20 weapon free when you job change as part of the quest. Skills are what you need to start saving up for. x.x
|
You also get Revive doing a quest... even though it doesn't actually cost 'money' to get it it's nice to use those fame for something other than skills. Also, when you're buying skills make sure you get the ones you REALLY need first such as Heal. You'll probably be doing KQs for awhile too so think party play I guess. Once you get into your late 20s, early 30s is when you start to really rack up some money...

No no no. I'm a fighter hehe. I think I'll be getting Power Hit (is that what it's called?) and the AoE Taunt and Stun(devastate?).
And I was wondering since I'm building a 25Spr Full Str Axe Fighter, I wanna try to get as high a crit rate as possible. So what items give crit rate? Excluding event/CS items. I know a few: Axe 5% Mara Sign Thingy 1% I heard there's a crit necklace? |
I've no idea how I thought you were a Cleric but anyways...
All the necklaces are used to give resistance to the debuffs (ie. poison, illness, and curse). Besides those that you've mentioned I don't think there are anything else? Maybe the green items... ones with Thunder usually has a higher critical rate. But it's rare... you usually see the solar eclipse kind. I've once gotten a Thunder sth crossbow from the Mara KQ so you can try your luck once they do that patch to fix the empty chest bug. :) |
I see. So until they fix the empty chest bug I just dump the chests into my storage?
|
Not sure :s Can you?
|
I'm not sure that's why I'm asking the question lol. I calculate that I will have 10156c = 10s 156c by tonight if I sell all my scrolls. And maybe I'll sell my BroadSword +5 with completed Ratman and Boar License when I finish my job adv at lvl 20.

You'll need more. The skills are going to cost you, but more importantly is the armour. You'll be short on cash in your 20's often so there is no helping that. Come your 30's things slow down to a crawl so money isn't a problem then. I have 150s saved at the moment in anticipation for level 40 skills and equipment. I can earn about 50s if not more at my current level as nobody wants to take a fighter with an axe, leaving me to grind solo off of monsters.
