Not too bad. Bonus points for original lyrics n whatnot. I was actually working on an Evangelion AMV, featuring Asuka set to a song by Rammstein, but that was before real life bitch slapped me and made me give up most of my hobbies. :/

I don't particularly see the big deal about Evangelion though. And yes I do get all the symbolism and supposed depth, (I actually am a highly intelligent person believe it or not), but it just isn't all that impressive as some people tout it. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan and I think it's a great show. I just don't think that it's the life altering experience that so many of its extremely pretentious fans seem to think it is. Some fans are convinced that the secrets of life, love, and everything in and around those concepts are held within its "depths", but they just have their heads up their ass as far as I'm concerned.

There's no arguing with these people either; they're just like extreme religious fanatics. Whatever though; if it's their bag, then more power to 'em.

Evangelions working its way into the "old school" legendary animes. Its popular because its one of those animes you have to see at least once.

I met one of the animators for it o: and the voice actress for Asuka.

The anime just reminds me of a few of my friends. I have a friend who looks like Gendo, and cosplays as him. Another friend who looks like and cosplays as Asuke, and another friend who looks like and cosplays as the dude who always has a camera. Kensuke?

^I thought it already was one of the ones you have to see o:

Something about defining a genre and being a trendsetter for the industry. I liked it until it fell off a cliff the last few episodes. The remakes they're doing now aren't bad.

P.S. Yes, Kensuke.

I just mean its not as popular as it once was, everyone just knows about it now because its one of those must see animes, even though its starting to age.
