Like not have a border? Because if I don't have a border the text would look weird D: but the border also makes it look bad because it shows the actual size of the siggy and makes it seem like empty space D:

You can always try and put the text with the picture and not randomly placed next to it. For example, you could sit your text on the horizontal lines or something. And maybe don't make your text stand out so much more so it looks like it's "with" the lines (or make your lines stand out more to match your text, whichever you like).

Just a suggestion. There's lots of other ways to make text "associate" with your siggy.
