Shouldn't we make the thread creator be able to lock and unlock their own threads? Of course they shouldn't unlock necro threads, but if they want to lock it, instead of asking for a mod to do it, the thread creator should already be able to do it.

Nope. Because they could say what they wanted to, then lock it and no one would be able to reply and debate the topic.

Yeaa I think that would be pretty cool. Then I can close my own event threads XD

Oh, good point... but we should make like a time limit, before they could lock it, like 5 minutes? That's what the message boards at GameFAQs does.

That's the reason I made this suggestion...

But we're FiestaFan not GameFAQ.

Mods are fairly active. Just ask for it to be closed we'll get on it. Also, it usually takes longer than 5 minutes for the rest of the members to see your post.

Meh, I guess...But whatever, don't incorporate it then, I'm just giving a suggestion.

Also.. some members might suddenly like to be inconsiderate and keep opening/closing threads and.. do stupid/confusing things. Better to keep it all simple. xD

I have another suggestion. How about we start allowing nested quotes? I'm really surprised that feature isn't available here.

What's nested quotes?

It's like when you private message, and end up with a quote inside of another quote inside of another quote. It's a function that is automatic in private messaging, but forum posts still split multiple quotes into individual, separate quotes. Implementation may require a vBulletin hack.

Example:

Unless I'm way too tired and I'm thinking of something else, that should be right.
