Power Blackout :s
Back from a power blackout
So this record breaking Heatwave in South Australia (Victoria has nothing on us) finally gave us a power blackout. Because the electric company had to cut our power out on purpose to avoid the transformers from overloading. I got worried that some of my electronics might've went since we have no surge protectors or anything. But everything seems good I'm so glad I had some frozen breakfast juice I put in the freezer earlier this morning that kept my throat cool but I was still sweating like mad though =\ I've got one fan blowing on me right now Im considering turning the other fan on and have 2 blowing on me at once. My bedroom seriously feels like an oven right now. |
No surge protectors? o_o
Lol. My brother would rage right now if he saw that. |
Oh gawd, blackout. :O I feel sorry for you Andromeda, your room was like as hot as an oven?? That must be horrible.
|
D: if you could transfer just a lil of that heat over here pl0x. im freezing in my chair.
|
The power was out for 30 minutes but that was the longest 30 minutes of my life and the guy next door to us came knocking on our door to confirm his house wasn't the only one with the power blackout xD
I saw the article on the news that we were warned that the power plants in Adelaide would cut power to peoples homes to avoid transformers overloading but I didnt actually expect our power to be cut out :( |
Wow... no fan, no air con in that heat...
EWWWW |
Worst heat wave I had caused even cold water in my shower feel lukewarm.
|
whenever we have heatwaves.. since our water comes from a well, we have like no cold water for showers D: it all turns either burning hot or really uncomfortably warm ._.
|

Yeah I'll just take my 6 inches of snow and drop it on your lil' city there and steal a bit of sun... Deal? |
