Joystick Fun?

Can Fiesta be played with a computer joystick/controller? I was going to try and see if I could program the buttons next time I login.

That would just be too cool, If it works, you better let us know! I'd love that MMO Final Fantasy feel.

I'll try tomorrow. I'll see if Fiesta picks up the buttons and what not. If would make casting spells a lot easier.

Would you map the walking commands to the joystick? Would you then map the cursor to another stick?

Well the game pad I have has 2 analog joysticks (like a PS3 game pad), a D-pad, and 8 programmable buttons. I don't plan to chat much (as I normally don't because I'm always killing), so of course the keyboard would still have it's uses. I wanted to try it since it worked so good for me when I was playing Oblivion, POTCO, and PS Online.

PSO FTW! I'm currently playing it.

Haha I couldn't keep up with my friends and it took too long to level.

Currently Fiesta does not support gamepads, at least not Saitek. I'll try my second method later and see what happens.
