thats sad. 60 years and......BAM! Its gone...including ppls jobs there. At least Canada will still have Circuit city stores, lucky for you guys.

That stinks x.x the one here closed down just before Christmas. It had a huge sale. I bought my dad one of those pre-paid cellphones for $4.

Compared to stores like Best Buy and Office Max, they really didn't offer that much =/ I bet Radio Shacks going to go soon as well.

Awhile ago, I saw a news article on prediction of which companies would fail in the economy down time. Circuit City and Radio Shack were on the list as well.

Hmm... I remember when I was younger, we went to Circuit City more often. Later on, not so much. And then even later one, it was even less because of the deals found at other stores/online.
