It's a shame those are even bred. It's due to a genetic mutation that probably wouldn't be as prevalant if there wasn't selective breeding going on.

thats just sad. idunno, but it just looks too me like they were bred to be "cute". almost like if they were just another product to sell. >_>

They're just normal cats with short legs. I saw some of them at a pet shop. Its an unfortunate mutation x.x they can't jump like normal cats.

It started out as a mutation but is now recognised as a breed and can be showed.

But most things in different breeds of cats started out as a form of mutation (not all but alot did well the ones with weird things...)

I think short haired persians are the cutest breed xD they look like they ran into a wall.

they're cute :D but they would never be able to live with me. i live in the mountains and it would have to be able to run away from Coyotes ><(or how ever you spell it)
