Old player coming back
Hey all, I used to play Fiesta a while back, but had to stop playing due to RL issues at the time .. but, I just reinstalled and decided to start fresh on a new character. I decided fighter would be somewhat easy, so I chose one of those.
I have a few questions about the game. First of all, how can a new player make some decent money? I remember buying/collecting mats and making scrolls and stones and selling them, I used to make a good amount of money doing that, but I don't remember how to do it. Should I just sell my mats to other players for now? Or should I hoard them for later? Also, I remember it was hard to solo on a fighter mainly because of all the potions/stones you had to eat to stay alive and how hard it was to pay for all the potions/stones I needed. Is it easier to get money/potions for cheap, or should I just roll a cleric like I used to play to stay alive easier? That's all I really need to know for now ... I'm sure I'll come up with some more questions in the future. Thanks in advance! ~Azarion |
Well in terms of money, tbh questing gives you a resonableamount of money.
If your desperate sell wanted mats in roumen (LQ SBL; old dusts, ect...broken bones to the NPC. noone wants them :D). OR, be smart and a bit of money to level up your scroll making and sell higher scrolls (This drains a bit of money at first, but youll get it back :D) To stop soloing, find a nice party, cleric preferably, and do all the quests with him. If you were on my server, i would be the one running to roumen with T1 pots and silver :> xx |
I still believe cleric would probably be the cheapest (pots/stone wise) to start...
Since you dont need to use ur HP pots, these are quite worthy if you vend them off... Not sure when the last time you played were, but at one point in time Outspark has increased the stone capacity of all classes, fighters and cleric can hold much more stones which should work in ur favour... Making ur own scrolls and pots are always the cheapest way to grind and a money making avenue.. it depends if you have the time and patience to work your production skills up |
I think clerics are kind of easy to make money to.
Make lots of SP pots and then you won't have to spend money on stones (for the most part) because you can use your pots to replenish your SP and then heal yourself. |
Heh, I played a while back where the highest level people (on my server anyway) were in their 30's, and you were really rich if you had almost a gold. Thanks for the replys everyone, I like my fighter, but I will prolly roll a cleric for ease of soloing, used to be my main character when I played before (it did drive me crazy that it took forever to kill a mob with my cleric tho!) I remember I used to make my money making potions and scrolls, just gonna have to remember how to do it and what to kill to get the materials.

If you want to get rich, get in a good academy. My guild...leveling to 40 in the academy nets you 725 silver, that is really easy money. Real money still lies in production skills though.

Hmm, What is an academy exactly? Those weren't around when I played and 725 silver just for levelling up sounds pretty nice.
