Bots
 

Well it's really annoying having a lazy person train with their own characters in the same party. With them having their characters automatically attack, loot etc but it's ticking me off. It just ruins the game for everyone (said billions of times) and I want something to be done about this.

All of those are being controlled by 1 person, the names are similar. Gawd, I hate it when people are lazy and resort to cheating the system by using programs to train their own characters..

So, what you're saying is they have an extra character which is a bot in the party while they sit on their butts somewhere else? o.O I've seen another thing though... someone had a cleric with them and it just kept healing him. This isn't such a weird thing if it was out on a map somewhere with monsters attacking. BUT this certain person was in their mushroom not resting but vending... with full HP in Elderine... and the cleric had half a HP bar yet not healing himself.

If it is a bot... just send a train of mobs running at them to get rid of them.

No no, they're all bots. They're all programmed to kill and loot while the clerics heal each other etc. I tried killing them with a huge mob earlier but I died in the process. Very hard to maintain a large mob of 20+ monsters...

Plus.. they're smart, the clerics know when they're getting hit and invincible each other. It's pretty ridiculous, then the fighters come help them. Blah..

Then maybe they're not bots, and just can't speak english? =p Only set opf bots I've seen are the Goodboy adn apples and Hooy Hoot Hore etc xD

I've pretty much confirmed that they're bots. I tried talking, they didn't reply. I even called them names if you catch my drift. That and I saw that every few seconds they would just stand there and pause then attack.

i'm not sure if was i saw was bots..

but i saw in sand beach that 1 level 13ish cleric was had 3 noob-geared clerics following her as she fought stuff...

she's healing herself and so the 3 noob-geared clerics arent doing anything...

i thought she must be lvling her own character.. but that also means she had to hv 4 computers (unless you can open the game twice in a computer? never tried but it'll probably kill all the virtual memories)

i thought.. if she's got the resources to plvl 3 other characters.. then so be it... keke

(only if she's not a bot of coz...)

its quite possible to multi-launch fiesta on 1 computer with no 3rd party program.

to prove how simple the plvl bots were today, i made my char into a "bot" for about 30 seconds using nothing but my keyboard's profiler, which is an included accessory driver and in no way a malicious 3rd party program (g15 keyboard)

in other words, its damn near impossible to stop the bots, as usually they are nothing more than a simple macro program running on a machine somewhere in some chinese office building.

the ones you see where the clerics are casting invinc on eachother and the fighters are using skills, are likely real people, because even the most complex bots cannot farm as efficiently as a human being, and I wouldn't be surprised if people have been hired as gold farmers for this game.

Report the bots. >_> I'm surprised nothing has been done about them yet, tbh. At the very least, they should be jailed, lol

Omie... mind if i ask.. how old are you? I'm under the impression that u're the same age as Blah but u seem to hv much wise opinions than her... XD

(she would've said that they should be elimiated from earth HAHA)

I'd agree with Blahs though? O.o But why do that when it's so much more fun watching them die due to an unknown train of mobs... :D

It's just a shame that you can only report one person in an hour. I'm not about to stick around another hour just to report the other person so yeah. P: I'm sure the GMs will do something about the bots soon enough. They're most likely more concerned about the spammers because of the ads and violating terms of service and blah blah blah. Bots are just brainless things killing and just a nuisance...
