Fraps problem
Ok, so for Christmas I got a registered version of Fraps. But when I set it to work Fiesta gives me this Xtrap message and closes the game:
http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/g...otos/xcrap.png Also, when I log back in Fraps' counter won't be on, so I have to close Fraps and open it again. But when I try to open it, it says "Cannot find FRAPS.DLL". Any help? D: |
Frapping is the process of going over the wrappings when your lashing >.>
/random I know nothing about that error. |
Ah I know what this error means but I dont know if there is anything you can do about it.
You need to find away to bypass X-Trap for Fraps to work as X-Trap thinks Fraps is a program attempting to modify the game in someway when it really isnt because Fraps attaches itself to the program you have running in full screen so X-Trap picks that up and thinks its an external program used to hack Fiesta. Try Hypercam because that wont attach itself to the Fiesta.exe itself and you can be in window mode and record it and X-Trap wont pick it up since it captures the screen itself and not what the program is telling Fraps to record. |
Simple solution.
Xfire. Ingame instant messenger, has a built in chat function for fullscreen games AND a built in game recording method. Doesnt encode though, so watch your diskspace. I recorded a pvp rumble that ended up being 2.2gigs. Wasnt too happy about that... |
Fix that by encoding it to a smaller file type?

Dont think so. My Fiesta runs fine with fraps running. Try a reinstall of Fiesta? Maybe that'll help.
