since I am an idiot with computers and my guru is asleep in Australia let me know if these are any good.

Comp B is more expensive but just a little more than I wanted to spend but can be done.

thanks,

B looks better all around except for 1 thing I noticed. The speed of the processors. If I am reading right, Comp A has a faster processor. But, other than that, Comp B looks better everywhere else.

They're both 2GHz, from what I see. The second one has 2MB of L2 cache (A has 1MB) and is a Core 2 Duo instead of just a Core Duo. The graphics card on the second one is quite a bit better. The hard drive on B is twice the size of A. The second one also has another GB of RAM, which you'll need if you're running Vista.

I'd say the second one is better all around. About the only reservation I'd have about B is the ability to add more RAM if need be. It doesn't say anything about how many more slots it has.

I could have swore the first one said something different this morning. Oh well. Teach me to answer something on less than 4 hours sleep.

nope both were copy paste entries.

I guess than I will go with B.

thanks for the help.

Ya Spirit's spot on.

A is using an old generation of dual core processors. B has a 2MB cache (like super fast RAM for the processor). Graphics are great too.
