Fiesta Fan Forums - Good thing almost gone bad but ended up better

So me and my wife were trying to lvl. Shes a cleric and im an archer. We can usually handle some mean stuff together. I get the bright idea to go to collapsed prison. Im 37, shes 32. Im thinking im gonna get floored, but just for the sake of knowing my limits, I decided to go. So we get in, I put on a T2 DEF scroll and just to be safe, I pull a harkan. Well BOOM. I wiped the floor with it. I was so proud of myself, so, I get gutsy. We move to the little safe zone just beside the bridge by the sign, where the three colls and two harkans spawn. Im pulling harkans and clobbering them. Im so happy, and start to get full of myself, so I pull a king coll. It was a tougher fight but I pull it off.

So were sitting there pulling colls and harkans and other players are giving us funny looks cause were lowbies and we havnt died yet. Some people try to help by attacking and I ask them to stop and they honestly think were in trouble, but they leave. So I pull another koll, kill it, it drops a chewy meat. I tell my wife "Grab that meat, you might need it on some quest later." I pull another coll and the disappears. Im like OH CRAP!! I cant stand up fight a coll solo. Thats suicide. So I run from it and im kiting it by using the poison shot and bleeding shot skills cause you can use them while running. Up and down the river im doing that and I end up almost dying but I took a chance and stopped and used a power shot risking taking a full on blow. It killed him.

RIGHT after he falls down, my wife shows up "What did I miss?" I was like "WTF HAPPENED?" And she was like "I tried to pick the chewy meat up and used a scroll instead. Oops. Besides, its not like you almost died or anything."

I wanted to choke her. But at least now I know that with a T2 scroll i can kite a coll if I have too.
