A build for me.
 

Hello,
I've had some experience with the other classes but I want to try Archer now, but I want a decent build...

So what build should I take, I like to deal a lot of damage but I don't like running away, shoot, run, shoot, run, etc. And should I use bow or crossbow on Lv.20 then?

If you don't like kiting, then you should go for a crossbow, and go for a 25 SPR, remaining STR build.

So that's all in SPR the first 20 levels? And what skills to empower?

Yeah, I did that, but they're all so confusing, and so many different ones. xD I just don't know which one is the best for me. So I just thought I'd make a topic my self.

If you would like to deal damage but not have to run I recommend these skill builds:

Power/Aimed Shot: Full empowerment on damage and cooldown.
Multi Shot: Full empowerment on damage and/or cooldown.
Nature's Mist: Full empowerment on cooldown; possible points on sp reduction.

That's up til level 60 and from then you should have an idea of what you'd want.

Hmm, thanks a lot guys. You've been very helpful. Don't think I'll ever reach Lv.60, though. =p

I went 2:1 STR:SPR until I got my 25 SPR. I don't think that it's worth putting your first 20 levels into SPR because you will lack STR for a long time and will be playing catch up.

15 spr and rest str until vll 60. At lvl 60 you can add the 10 points in from the job quest for the 25 spr. As far as a build I would go for pure str as an archer
and empower cd/pwr on power shot, cd on aim, cd on bone, and I wouldnt spent points on multi shot.

Reason I wouldnt is because many a high level archers on teva told me they dont use it much and the points are much better spent on other things ( save up for your poisen aoe )
