I have so much that I haven't done, so I decided to take another baby step and start coloring my artwork!!

The dot thingys were actually just color samples, but I thought they made a cool design so I added more :P

(Btw it isn't the same thing I drew in the last thread, they just look alike)

Cute~ Time for shading!

I really wanna be able to do that T.T Its too hard though o.o I try to do it but it just doesn't look natural ><

I'm sure you can get there with more practice. A good way to start off is to make a new layer and paint the shading one top. Depending on what I'm drawing, I like to have a separate layer for each colour. Say, I want to paint the hair. I will colour it orange. Then I make a new layer on top. And put in the dark colour shadings. Then I might make another layer on top, for another dark colour, or the highlights layer. Then I like to use the smudge tool to make it look smoother. Experiment around xD

Be sure to rename your layers so you know what layer is what if you do this. Getting too many unlabelled layers is never a good thing. xD
