Help!!! Ever since i downloaded that adobe thing for reading the fiesta mag, a little bar on my web page would tell me if i got a virus or something. And today it said my comp was infected with spyware D: Im really scared they are gonna key-log my game.... i dont know why they would but they might...
WELL... is there a(safe) way for me to get rid of the spyware without spending any money? Pls Help And ty in advance
Edit: my comp is slightly slower now and i scanned my comp and it shows i have lots of risks on my comp but im not sure how long they been there.. and my comp has the crappyest secuirity
Edit again: actually its just slow now....

Did you download Adobe Reader off the official site? If so then that isn't the root of the problem.

Are you sure the "warnings" are real, or are they just pop-ups in IE that are made to look like real alerts?

idk... i downloaded the spyware docter thing off of another site and it scanned my computer for spyware and i had a lot...

Try Free AVG and CCleaner. These are what I use and works very well.

You should be scanning your computer of viruses at least once every 2 weeks and for spyware once per week. I usually scan before I shut down my laptop for spyware I may have collected while surfing that day.

I'd also suggest Spybot - Search & Destroy, and ThreatFire (this baby kicks major butt).

Threatfire is a good resident program to run alongside avast!. Between the two, you shouldn't have many problems at all. And no, I'm not going to link you.
