Need Patience ><

I'm sure everyone that uses PS knows exactly what I'm talking about... when something has so much detail when its zoomed in and you want a perfect cut out. I like zooming in alot and using the pen tool to make very small straight lines, not the curves. So I wanted to do something and took a screenie of my cleric. So I used my method which took FOREVER! There are soooo many clicks, look o.o

It took a while but after I cut it out it was perfect :D Every single detail was there ^^

Oh I hate using lasso tool for this type of detail, I'd rather do it manually.

I rarely do it, but I use the pen tool if I have to.

good effort

Wow lol. I rarely use pen tool as well. Before I got my tablet I would use the magnetic lasso tool. Select around regions and then CTRL+SHIFT+I > delete! But they sometimes give a rough edge.

I actually like to use the magic wand where appropriate. It will give rough edges but you can use an eraser tool to soften the edges up. Not really sure which will be more time consuming though. But I assume that pen tool might give a "rough" edge too.

Woops, I meant I rarely have to remove stuff from their backgrounds.

When I do, I use the pen tool.

Actually, if you take your time, it gives a perfect cut :P Here look at this, I made a new layer of the thing that was cut out.
