when i was looking for shining ring of eld on the outspark forums yesterday i found this:

unfortunately it only goes up to the 7x though
so maybe the zone after that if there is one?

Let see.. me and Tool picked up a lvl 80 archer armor in.. CP2... i think it was from an Orc Captain...

(remember looking for a Orc Captain armour for quest and they gave us an archer armor instead)

I suppose mobsi n FoS should drop lvl 80 gear?

Forest of Slumber seems to have the highest drop rate.

Higher drop rate in terms of armour compared to the rest of the map? I was out grinding for a bit and when I heard that sound you hear when you get an armour... my heart went up then plummeted seeing that it was a Level 84 Archer boots with, :zomg:, 40 INT. >.>

i wore it anyway, since my boots were white LOL

I got a figter lev 80 shield from a navar in CP1 a few days ago. I cant recall the specs off hand but i think they were +29 str and +4 or +14 end can't remember which. I have got other 74-80 drops there as well in the course of training my lic.

BTW: as of 6:00AM PDT (-8 GMT) Nov 3 2008 the shield was still for sell on teva near the smith in Urgra under the name Doylen
