planks.... or it might go by another name but u get it from the item merchant in roumen, it has a picture of a hammer and nails and a plank.....wats it for??????

There is a quest for them later on. That is all I have found them used for.

And oh yeah, that quest is a pain in the butt. You have to keep gathering Firewood and Fine Firewood.
