Weird...
 

I booked my flights with Jetstar... and just recently I got an email from them with all my flight details asking me to confirm my flights by clicking a link which was www.jetstar-sc.com/xxxxxxx

I thought, that's a weird domain... (normal jetstar site is jetstar.com) so I googled them... and apparently the site is legit... (it didnt ask me for account details or anything just a confirmation that i'm aware the flight has been changed)

why would a company use a different domain name and freak us all out?

It's probobly because the regular domain gets lots of traffic so they have a seperate one so people who have already payed for the flight can acknowledge it without the slow loading of a busy site
I have no clue though.

yeah hmm i did a google search... some people said that they called up to check if the email as legit... and the people on the phone doesnt seem to care...

and that domain has been around for at least 3 years so... yeah...

the domain is hosted in UK (when jetstar should be an aussie company i believe)... my guess is they dished out the confirming flight thing to a UK company =/

I wouldn't have a clue. Usually, businesses don't do this.
