At the official forums there are a lot of people who have in their sig "If I was helpful please +rep me". And one particular individual who has that in their signature comes into a troubleshooting thread I had and asked what that thread was about. There were 3 pages of myself and another player trying to figure out this problem. So I really don't get how you wouldn't understand why you don't know what the thread is about? Do most people just hit reply and not even read the OP?

When I (and another individual) point that out to them that the topic of the thread is clearly stated and unless they have a solution or have the same problem I don't see why she should be posting about something rather off topic. (Did I also mention the thread was dead for a good couple of weeks?) Then they tell me they're leaving to stop the flames. Err... okay. It's not like I told you to GTFO of the thread.

So long story short if you're unhelpful and go off-topic do I get to -rep you? :angel:

Do not hesitate! Except that the official forums' rep system isn't anonymous, and you'll just spark of a neg-repping war.

Haha Yeah, I suppose that's why that person has like a huge green bar. xD I'll get squished. But really I found that funny.

precisely why i disabled my rep. totally unnecessary to have it on. :D

Well, it's not so much about the rep bar itself. It's just that I found it funny how people have that little sentence in their signature. So I always wondered if the opposite holds true? :3
