Find a cleric/party to train with you or try using scrolls? You can also try kiting (where you hit, run a bit, then hit again) to avoid getting hit so much but.. it's hard to avoid getting hit at all with an archer. o.o

is there no other way? solo methods.?..argh!

Pump endurance to survive hits. D: But scrolls are the best. Vitality + shield scroll might help.

Fiesta's pretty party oriented. You're gonna need a cleric. Only other solution I have for you is to find monsters you can solo without such hassle. I remember training at graverobbers in burning hill at level 25 with my archer. But I'm a bit iffy about that, try training at sea of greed, smart phinos and joker kebings. They're in the south west corner, you can also find little lizardmen and grave robbers there too, in case you're feeling a bit more adventurous. Don't worry they spawn separately from the phinos and kebings, so you'll never get into sticky situations. This spawns also closeby to Elderine, so going to repot isn't such a bother.

Kiting isn't so effective or so I've found. The monsters usually catch up to you anyway.

My method is to use Fury Shot or Bone Shot to get it to have constant damage and then follow with the Aimed and Power Shots. I usually only get hit once with this method.

after about 25, soloing does become a bit tougher.

its just an issue of finding the right mobs to grind on.

Lies. Dex based archers won't really have that kind of problem, at least later on. Even at my level, with an evasion scroll, I'm able to dodge roughly 20~30% of the hits I take and I'm not pure Dex. I'm also not completely up to date with my equips, using only a level 20 suit(+6), level 26 helm, level 6 pants, and level 14 shoes.

Pumping end isn't gonna help much. You need a lot of end for the defense bonuses to do anything. You're better off adding more to either dex, str, or spr. If you can't kill off the monster efficiently, at least go make it so they can't hurt you more or kill them off faster with raw power. Tanking them isn't going to do you much good since archers aren't exactly good tankers compared to fighters or full end clerics. I myself have no end and I don't have a tough time with monsters.

Kiting is generally good for ranged chars, yes, but it's actually better for mages than archers. We don't deal enough damage to kite efficiently with. Mages do, however. I'd recommend loveless' method over kiting since I've been doing the same thing for quite some time and I found that it's very effective.

Agreed with Flash, going pure end is NOT going to save you from using pots, nor does it make you take significantly less damage.

Using a level 25 archer as an example, you'd have 30 points to use (I think, could be off a bit). 30 end = 15 def and 150 HP. Not going to save you from using a pot or stone. Might save you from a death though (you'll be able to tank a few more hits..) I'm not saying end is totally useless, just don't go pure end.

The easiest (and most efficient way) would be to grind full time in a party with a cleric/tanker. You won't have to worry about dying at all, but you will have to spam SP pots instead. It's either that or going back to a mob where you kill it before it hits you ~3 times.
