Playing Maplestory.
 

Okay, my friend told me to play Maplestory. I felt bad for him, since I told him to download Rumble Fighter and FlyFF, and I stopped playing them both.

So, I started playing and noticed, I don't lag when I press alt+tab. That's awesome. One thing is:

What's good about MS, and what's bad about it? What made you quit?

I'm thinking of being a Fire/Poison Mage, but I don't know really. Any good wikis or websites, or a MapleStoryFan.com or something?

I played an MS private server....2d scrollers just aren't my thing. So I stopped playing.

Pros:
It's a good game.
Lots of quests.
Lots of pq's
Lots of items in cash shop.
You can buy nexon cards from a lot of stores.
Lots of classes.
Fun to play with a friend.
Good bosses.
Cons:
Community is horrible.
Filled with immature lil 7year olds.
Even teenagers and adult are immature.
A lot of bashing each other.
Called noob a lot.
People get angry fast.
The grind gets really boring.
Pq's get really boring.
You will feel like your leving slow cuz everyone else has 2x cards.
Hard to find decent people.
Your pretty much suck if your a normal class not a statless (ex: dexless sin, strless warrior, lukless mage, theres none for bowmans)
Its hard to make money.
People from ff arnt there!!!
A lot of hackers.
Sometimes you may have to wait for a very long time to get in pq cuz ur leader keeps on missing.
You dont really party when you grind.
No pvp.
Clerics cant buff.
In some servers the prices are really high.
If you meet a friend there, there probably wont play long.
A LOT OF SPAM.[smegas]
Popular training spots are always filled with a lot of people.

And thats about all i can think off.

The grind is horrible.

People do not like to share maps. As soon as you enter the map they tell you to "CC plzz". CC = change channel.

F/P mages are boring. In fact, all mages are boring till you get to third job AND level up some decent skills.

I would only consider playing a private server. Maybe play the official server first to get an understanding of the game then switch.

private servers dont get updated anymore since odinms is getting sued and thats where all the pms get their info.
But i hear the private servers has pvp.

I actually do play on a private server. They made the exp 1000x. Killing 1 slime gives you like 4000 exp. I've gotten to 1-12 in 5 minutes. But, I can't kill stuff good. I already died. When you get the beginner back, you get a bunch of items, and 300,000,000 pesos. Also, they increased the rate drop to like 30x so I got like a bunch of stuff. The community is kinda bad. But there are some helpful people, but it took me like 15 minutes asking for where is Ellinia. And still no help.
