Ok, I wanna see if this a wierd by everyone's standards.

I have a lvl 56 fighter who only has around 620 def.

I keep meeting people who have in the thousands around my level!!

Something is seriously wrong here!

I have 30 free stat points on end.

I use a 2H instead of a shield.

Is this def normal for this level?:zomg:

I have meet mages who have me beat in def!:err:

It probably depends on your equipment then. They probably have their equipment all enhanced to +9. So from this they can have a TON more defense than you do even though you do have a 2H weapon. What kind of green equipment do you normally search for? STR/END? or do you normally just try to take any kind you can?

Armour. Weapons.

Look for high END armour and weapons, if you want more defense.

A lot of mages have started wearing and using END Armour and weapons, which is why they may have higher defense than you.

I think that most of my gear has str on it. my lvl 60 armor has high amounts of end on it tho.

I wish I could enhance all of my gear. It took me a whole pack of miles and eyes to get my last sword to +4 and after that I don't think I wanna do it anymore.

Ouch...thats unfortunate. I feel its better to just earn A LOT of money and buy +9s from people. Of course its unlikely you'll get all of your equipment +9 but even just 1 or 2 can make a pretty big difference. Plus you can sell it for about the same price you bought it for once your done with it:laugh: If your mostly a DD then you shouldn't have to worry about having a ton of defense then since you'll mostly be the one dishing out damage instead of taking the damage. It's better to stick to the plan you originally started with.

were those people with 1000+ Def in a party with cleric buff??

cleric buffs makes a difference!

They probably were but so was I.

I need to go check my actuall unbuffed/unscrolled def.

oh gosh my fighter is like that too and im to poor to get my items enhansed
