Pure DEX character?? Who has tried it??
 

So I was thinking the other day that after I cap I might plan on creating a pure DEX character. I was thinking about this for awhile the other day when I was playing. So to start off this is how I think it will work:

(Also keeping in mind I plan to pretty much always have an aim scroll on me at all times)

Levels 1-20
I believe starting out with DEX won't affect my character too much on the lower levels because even if I obtain equipment with great DEX its not as much as with the higher levels. So these levels might be a little harder compared to others.

Levels 21-50
I think this will continue and become a little better with each set of 10 lvls but still not a huge impact until above lvl 50.

Levels 50+
Personally I think by the time you reach anything above level 50, as long as you still obtain beastly equipment then you should have a damn good character.

Advantages:
Your character will have incredible evasion and possibly impossible to hit depending on how much. Even with another character with an aim scroll, as long as you have one equally as good, I'd think you should be even in that sense and still be pretty powerful.

Disadvatages:
You will not have as much hp or sp so character is somewhat limited by that. Or for that matter as much of any other stat that comes with being PURE anything other than the PURE stat you chose.

Possible Variations:
If you have another account in which to obtain A LOT of money, I think if you can +9 ALL of your equipment then should acquire an insane amount of defense also. On top of this of course if you can find blue/green equipment allowing for 2-3+ stats on them then I think your character will be a lot stronger just from that. Of course I believe on the lower levels it will be harder but once you hit the higher ones OH YEAH!!:ninja:

well i'll let you know if i ever ge tto 60. atm my school's network is being totally craptastic and i cna't play.

You know how you get the 10 stat reset at level 30? You can go add 10 points into STR or INT (whichever character you use) to start off so you're not killing too slowly at first. Then just use the stat reset to put it all into DEX.

I've heard of an Axe Fighter who went pure DEX. Great evasion and aim. She showed her stats and compared it to another person with a normal cookie-cutter build and it wasn't that different in terms of damage. But obviously the DEX build benefits from the DEX and probably will dish out more damage in the long run because you're not missing your swings. It'd be interesting to try out. But the real difference is that this particular person is on a different version of Fiesta where the DEX's evasion works.

I used to know a cleric who switched to pure dex at level 79, and it seemed to go pretty well for him. I don't know which class you're referring to, though.

Yeah a while ago it looked like all European players would be banned from the US version cause they were getting their own. Luckily that didn't happen, but I did decide to try the cb lol
