Where do you get these for Material Decomposition?

I believe you can buy them from Item Merchant Pey.

There is a merchant in elderin that sell alchemy stone for Fame points

actually Pey doesnt sell them.

Is there another way to obtain other than fame because fame is really limited

I think the NPC's name is Nina or something (in Elderine).. she sells them for 50fame each...

step 1: stock up on elderine scrolls
step2: make a mule or two to do all the easy noob quests till they have 50 fame
step3: warp them to elderine, buy alchemy stones, store them, delete char.

lather, rinse, repeat.

So Alchemy stones arent bound to the character? You can transfer it through storage? Can you vend them?
