My cleric

Well I made a cleric and have been going 2:1 STR:END. People have been telling me at high lvls I will be incredibly gimp and worthless in parties...is this true? I like to solo thats why I made this build but I also do like to party. If this is a bad build I would appreciate if someone could help me come up with a build that would be more suitable. All help is appreciated, thanks :)

yeah farizzledizzlez it sounds quite good to me. what i did with my tank tho was i did +30end 1st then 10str then went 1:1 Str/End. and that 0o0o boy seems to be workin beautifully, specially in the battlegrounds:D. uhmmm i think a recomendation would be Dex as well for a cleric, cuz u guys can solo waaaay higher level monsters, which results in a shizzleloadz of misses. dex may just save u butt loads of time 2...o yeah, an im only going to +25 str total then its all end

im str/end/spr lol 30end 28str 15spr 3dex 1int lol thats my build

Sero 08-30-2008 10:34 PM

Hm, Angel is 25 SPR rest STR, END from gear... I think that's the solo build [battle cleric]? And that the party build [party cleric] is 25 SPR rest END or pure END?

BuzZzKiLL 08-30-2008 10:41 PM

ewwww forget party cleric lolz, go with the solo an max ure cooldowns on ure healz, its wud id do, cuz pt's arent always reliable, unless ure makin a char specifically for ure active guild i dunt see the point?

Sero 08-30-2008 10:55 PM

Yeah, if I'd make a cleric myself I'd follow my sister... I mean, END from gear, why not? There's rings to rely on too. Shield Block Rate dun really matter for clerics :cheeky: [my point of view]

MikeyG 08-30-2008 11:07 PM

cooljeffro is 25 end rest str and hes a dam good cleric.

Kaidela 08-31-2008 05:10 PM

Well, my cleric is 30 spr full end, but I wish I would've gone with a dex build... anyway, yes, if you're a solo cleric, str:end is good.

But... you probably shouldn't listen to me. My cleric is retired. ._.;

Ehhhhh I must disagree with most of you haha...Ok just to start it off my build is 50END rest STR and SPR, trying to get up to the 25SPR then rest will be on STR. With the 50END you get a great block rate which helps me a lot of the time too +10%?(don't remember exactly what it is). You'd be suprised how much you block attacks but guess thats just me. And the 25SPR gives you a good critical rate +5%(I think)? Yes it is good to have a powerful cleric but I would think it would be easier to save your money and just buy a +9 weapon for that. Then you can pretty much keep getting a +9 weapon and should be fine.

And I don't think DEX is really needed too much because if you use scrolls it hasn't been a problem for me yet so far, and I'm up to 60 at the moment. Not sure about higher lvls than that. I'm sure the build will work fine, but I'd recommend getting equipment with more END just to make sure your cleric has some good defense too! Once you start aoeing a lot because of healing the mage/archer/fighter A LOT you WILL get aggro and they WILL attack you haha. So might be good as just a fail-safe there just to add some more END. And if you got a +9 weapon like I recommended you would definitely be a pretty strong cleric :laugh:
