Blue Item Drops in KQ

WOW! Don't buy blue items from anyone for a while!

Quote:

Hello Fiesta Players,

It has come to our attention that Kingdom Quests are dropping Blue Items. This is not as intended. In order to resolve this issue and hold back any further damage to the game's economy, please read the following.

- Beginning today August 22, 2008, any Blue Item found in a Kingdom Quest will be removed on the next maintenance.

- Do not purchase a Blue Item from another player as it may result in a Blue Item that will be removed. You will not be refunded if you purchase one of these items.

- Do not waste your time picking up a Blue Item from the Kingdom Quests as it WILL be removed.

- Blue Items found in Kingdom Quests prior to today will remain.

- All Hellgait items found regardless of time will be removed. Hellgait items should only be found from defeating Helga.

I wonder if you pick up a blue and NPC it will they be able to take the money back from you?

Wish I had a blue - I'd put it on a mule, NPC it and test that theory.

Was kinda funny that things like Blues started dropping in KQs.

Guess it was a glitch after all.

I'm very glad they're doing this... I'm selling my blue, and since the kq issues, no one has been willing to pay anything close to what I paid, since people were selling them for as low as 8g... Dx

Something to think about when selling your ill-got blues...

What happens to a country when they print a lot of money?

if there are a *lot* of blues dropping, and everyone sells them and generates a ton of extra ig-cash, you can pretty much expect the prices of everything ppl tend to buy (scrolls, pots, reg weps/armor) to inflate.

Prices always increase with the excessive availability of currency in any economy...even game-related ones.

What if you apprehend a Blue Item outside of a KQ?

Does that count?

I'd just picked up lvl 30 Fighter armor and a silver ring (both blue), opened shop and now I'm 10s richer because of.

There's still a clear distinction between KQ blues and non-KQ blues. KQ blues have fixed stats (...crap) while the non-KQ ones have variable stats. The value of a blue equip with good stats won't depreciate due to this.

I would not set up a shop to sell them to another player because they have worked to gain that money. i would not feel bad NPC'g them since the NPC money is game generated and the game did not work hard for that money like some 3 year old kid might have.
