hybrid archer?
would a 1:1 end/dex be good for my archer? i want a vet archer to confirm da best solo AND pt build.
|
With any class that cannot equip a shield, adding END to free stat is kinda (very) lacklustre. Because there's no shield, END's greatest benefit, the block-rate is lacking. Archer's and Mages are better off increasing their damage through STR/INT and in-directly SPR and get more END through equips.
As an Archer you'll want a lot of STR. Archer's don't have the pure damage capability of a Mage so STR in free-stat really helps because it pierces mob defences. Don't get DEX. It's only helpful in lower levels and it's not like Archers miss much (at all) anyway. |
so pure str aight :ninja:

You should go with 25spr rest str.
25 spr adds 5% crit rate and + the crit rate from crossbows/bows, and cs items. But dont put more then 25spr as it isnt worth it. |
5% crit from spr + good crit from weap = pwnage. Rest in str to build up your average damage and you'll be good to go. If you have trouble with aim (which you shouldn't at mobs of your own lvl) just use an aim scroll.

i have to say, I went from having all end gear to all dex gear and at the higher end of dex, i have monsters miss me quite frequently :P i also match this with high str so both my dex and str are +350 so not getting hit as often and dishing out lots of damage makes my cleric have to do less healing for me ^^

didn quite understand ^ :cries:

main point...
HYBRID Build... meaning can SOLO,PARTY,AOE, -put whatever you wanna put in here- yes follow 25SPR... for the main point... i think, putting points into END or DEX might be helpful as for the term HYBRID... STR is absolutely a must... but yeah, most archers just go with 25SPR/allSTR then just spend money buying def/vit scrolls...and high stated equips too! |
