Weddings
So..... who here is planning to get married and to who? And why? Is it just for the boost/pets or for something else too? :laugh:
I'ma get married *dances* as soon as it's implemented and we're both on. *points to siggy* Find out for yourself who I'm marrying XD And sure boosts are nice and pets pwn, but I would've done it even without those extras. Btw. somehow I think we're doing things the wrong way around since I've paid for his tux :cheeky: |

I thought in some tradition the bride was supposed to pay for everything... fogot which and where. I think that's dumb but then again... I guess it'll make up for your hubby doing the paying for the rest of your time together. ;) |

In most western cultures the marriage is paid for by the bride's family and until relatively recently a dowry was also included. This cements the contract between the bride's father and her future husband. Love? You must be kidding. It was property negotiation.

"Daaaaaam I look like I'm pregnant." But the back is kinda purdy and according to my future hubby I look like a white mage. Yeah, I'ma be the main character in an upcoming Final Fantasy XD |
I'm gonna get married, but it's all business - stat boost from the pets, exp increase when partied with the spouse and teleport to the spouse skill. And it will be a guildie because my real-life hubby would not play an online game for love nor money. Heck, he has only ventured onto the internet in the last couple of years and still only visits the news sites like CNN and MSNBC and such. The man is addicted to the news and I rarely ever watch the news (coz it is always depressing or about politic, which, oh that's depressing too). With an in-game hubby I could care less if he likes the news as long as he gets me an exp boost and kills many many mobs for me.

I don't want love. I want flattery and to be pampered. Plus I want someone who will take up for me and stand beside me, and on occasion, even push me behind him to protect me. :laugh:
