Does Fiesta work on a Mac?

I think my friend wants to play this game, but he wants to download it onto his Mac laptop. So does it work?

It doesn't work on OSX.

However, it should work in Parallels or Boot Camp.

Which isn't really mac....so the basic answer is no, it doesn't work on mac.

There's always the WINE option. I've been curious to see if it would work with Fiesta.

I can't see how you can say that Parallels/Boot Camp aren't really Mac.

They allow you to run Windows on a Mac and they are programs designed specifically and exclusively for a Mac.

And the newer Mac models come with Boot Camp so if his friend has a newer mac model, it's fair to say that Fiesta will work on his Mac.

Yeah...its mac hardware just not mac software. All new macs have bootcamp so he just has to partition his drive and load windows.

Even if it works in wine, there will be issues since wine still has not perfectly emulated Windows (check the wine website for the complete of list of working programs). If you want to play a Windows game, you're much better off installing in a Windows environment, which should have its own partition on your drive (not virtualised in VMWare or similar). Though, I'm going to try installing Fiesta on my Linux machine. Wish me luck. XD
