Graphic Tablet Users~
Does anyone have this problem where they open photoshop, and when they draw a line using the tablet, it doesn't register the pressure of it and the line comes up in the same width the whole way through (as though you're using a mouse)?
It's starting to annoy me, because whenever that happens, I have to restart my photoshop to fix it (sometimes I have to restart it twice before it works) and reopening photoshop is slow on my comp sometimes. I never change the settings of my tablet. It's been the way it is ever since I first started using it. Halp plz. =[ |
Which Photoshop are you using?
If you go to the 'advanced' options for Brushes (where you can scatter, etc). Go to shape dynamics and just below Size Jitter there's a drop down. Set it to Pen Pressure when you get the problem. If it's already set like that when you have the problem... then... I don't know. D: Make sure that your computer detects the tablet (no more bubbles notifying you of the tablet at the bottom right) before you open up Photoshop? o__o |
I'm using CS3. And okie, I see the option. I'll try it next time. It usually happens when I use photoshop for the first time after starting up my computer.
And yeap, comp still detects tablet since I can still draw with it. Just pen pressure not detected. |
Okie, well I'm kind of playing this blind cause I can't test it myself. Don't know where my tablet went...
