I have my first rant. Aargh...
 

I had to do some good old writing therapy to help get through this and calm down:)

I usually don't get to upset, and cool down pretty fast, but seeing as how I wa online and in-game, and I actually thought of the forums, I'm going to write this.

I could name a name.

Okay...

I'm in the first floor of luminous stone. Just up that first flight of steps, in the hallway. Me and 2 other archers are killing skeletons and mage books.

a fighter comes running through us, but stops where we are maybe a few steps in front, I didn't really commit that to memory. But she had a trail of skeletons, and thought I'd help. Well I guess she was "collecting" them and got mad I killed one, but she just says "dam nubs" and immediately runs away.

Well I took it as my bad, but went back to helping the archers.

A few minutes later someone came running and stopped right next to us with a trail of like 6 skeletons and a mage book, so I didn't do anything until I saw the other archers attack. At this point I didn't know who brought the mobs.

Well after clearing them I found it was the same person, this time just adding "C stupid nubs"

Even though I got upset, I was trying to calm the other guy with me. He was furious and really ranting at her. I just said a couple things. Once to her "You have to quit crying", "We were trying to help, and I think you know that." Then I just told the guy with me, "Just ignore her, there's a million of them in the game", "I'm here to have fun, not spend my time dealing with ppl like them"

They had them, then you killed them off, then accused you of KSing.

I'm not so mad at how events happened, at how they were so antagonistic about it. It was in the hallway, with like 4 of us at one end that she came near to with her mob.

I don't really care enough to go much further. I'm already cooled off and moved on, but I would have felt slightly bad.

I think it really was a tough situation. An enclosed space. She was obviously one of those that expect perfection. Plus, I do sometimes have trouble determining if I should help or not.

Well, I used to help people dragging mobs behind them until they acted up like that particular person there. So I don't "help" unless I see their face in the ground. But I bet you she would've complained if she died right there infront of you guys for not helping... lol

Yeah, I've noticed that's a definite MMO personality type.

eh..happens a lot, when I aoe harkans with Eru, fighters tend to steal my mobs that I am aoeing when it's half dead and saying I couldn't handle it because I am a mage. I see most of the fighters that KS me in PvP zone, so I spawn kill them nonstop until they say sorry for KSing.
I help people when players are getting mobbed when they are dying, I saved them when they barely survive, I get flamed nonstop on me KSing when they are nearly dead from running away.

I generally don't help unless someone explicitly states "Help!" and even then some people have said I KSed, because they were talking to their party member in open chat. Go figure.

Well instead of saying "nubs" she could've TOLD you guys that she want to solo them, and not to help her.

Btw wat class do you play Mobly?

But yeah, same as most others, dont "help" unless u see them scream for help... let them die... as its their fault for training you guys XD

Never help anyone unless they say "help", or ask "need help?". Its never your obligation to help them. She should've chosen a different spot to pull them instead of right by you. Thats why in the higher levels, there are "spots".
