Question about Fame - to all the masses
 

What does fame do besides buy alchemy stones from that person in Elderine, (I think it was the Item Merchant that was selling them and maybe they are called something other than alchemy stones, but they are the red ones needed for material composition and decomposition).

Is there something else we will need our Fame points for?

Well.. you needed 500 (I believe..) fame to get the lvl 20 wizmage spell. Forgot the name. Other than that.. not sure.

There's skills you can get with fame, from the same person

I would think certain quests wouldn't open until a certain level of fame achieved but they all seem level based.

The job-change skill can be acquired from a quest though at level 20 - it's just a waste of fame to purchase it. So as far as I'm aware, it's only used for the alchemy stones.
