Windows XP reinstalled - Help? :/
 

Well...since the newer version I have been using crashed for some reason (or maybe it didn't crash, reason unknown XD), I had to reinstall the system with an older version, and all of the programs that were on it got deleted.

So Now...it seems like I have start fixing things...and I came up with a few questions that some of you might know how to solve. (searching in the internet didn't really help :/)
1. When I move/drag folders or any open programs...they move bit by bit...so...it's not a smooth drag, but a rather rough one...Can this be fixed? Or is it something that just takes time for the computer to get used to?
2. About 1cm of the side of the desktop is cut to the left...leaving a black blank side on the right...Is there a way to move the desktop screen and adjust it in any way?

I know I'll encounter a few more problems in the future...but hopefully I can solve those out.

You should be able to adjust your desktop position with your monitor.

probably your VIDEO CARD has not been installed/updated yet...

windows XP automatically installs most hardware you plug into your system...but only the GENERIC drivers...so i suggest you do some updating.

1st thing...know what kind of video card you have...

this time internet will be really helpfull. search for the LATEST driver of your video card.

Download and Install...that would probably fixed everything....
