Any suggestions on other mmorpgs??

I asked this in another post, but was worried it might get lost in all the hub-bub about OB being delayed. THe hardest part of the OB being delayed I explaining it all to my son who has been anxiously awaiting the release. Now, he has the whole weekend to have to wait. Any suggestions on another good mmorpg that an 11 year old could play????? He likes the fact that he could create a fighter and fight things, so something along those lines would be great!! Thanks!!!!!!!!

- Flyff
- Tales of Pirates

Both are games very similar to Fiesta.

THX!!! I'm downloading Lunia now. Hopefully, that will keep him entertained until OB happens.

So far everyone here has been really nice to me, glad I found this game and forum!! :)

Someone in the other thread said Runescape and I recommend that as well. Sure it gets boring but I loved it when I was about 13. It's a game that suits kids about that age.

Hmmm . . .

Pre-Fiesta CB2 I would have said Runescape or FlyFF, but since experiencing Fiesta, hmm . . .

I find Runescape to be like walking little lego men around. :oAbout the biggest excitement was accidently getting off the beaten path and having my behind kicked by a ghost or wizard - not sure since I didn't see him coming.

As for FlyFF, stinks that you can't fly till level 20 and you cant do job quest till level 15 and by then the targets you need rarely drop the items you need to a L15. Graphics are decent, not Fiesta, but decent.

I downloaded Lunia tonight and that one is coming back off pretty quick. Not only did the graphics leave lots to be desired, it kept messing up my screen resolutions and kept giving me runtime errors.

Oh well, I think our venture into Fiesta was the best of the lot.

Well, as for those I've tried - I have looked at Swords of the New World (more than once). Looks like good graphics, but I'm thinking it takes more involvement in building the family than I wanted to put in.

Pretty much my same sentiment on several. Bounty Bay, PoC, 9Dragons . . . they really looked more involved that I wanted to be. :p

I like the Fiesta way - create character and start killing mobs.
