Resting - Home Button
 

I havent played for a while, but I do remember the Home button being used for rest and such. Why is that when I try to rest, I would rest for a fraction of a second when I push the home button and then go back into my normal state. Like literally, when I press home, i rest for a fraction of a second like I never rested at all. I can't fully heal and wasting stones is one of my peeves. Anyone know why I cant stay in my house to rest for longer than a second?

Your in an area not allowed for resting. The area "zones" around npc's has increased in some places not allowing you to rest.

Roumen, for example, you can only rest in the fighting area or marketplace(although people have found small exceptions).

Well I'm in Vine Tomb and I'm nowhere near any npc's or other homes. I'm in a fighting area and I still can't rest.

Does the system message box say anything?

My guess is that he pressed the home key too long.

That or windows repeats the key press much too fast.

No it doesn't, I've played long enough to know that I can't rest next to gates/shops/other homes. But, this time, it doesn't say anything at all.

ur probably a cash shop user before u left right?

check ur home menu and see if you have a mini house equipped on it.

in case u dont remember, its H on ur keyboard.

the last mini house you had must have expired and you havent changed it back to a normal house yet...i remember it happend to me recently coz long before they have this bug that it still allows you to sell 10 items even if ur multi house expired if you dont change your house. but now, i think they fixed it.
