screen resolution

is there anyway to change the screen resolution to 800x600?

DTOSensei 08-24-2007 02:37 PM

u mean in game? or in what?

Neelie 08-24-2007 02:57 PM

I used to be able to switch from 800x600 to 1024x780 when I started playing, but before cb2 ended I wasn't able to go back to 800x600 D= Anoher odd thing was that I couldn't take screenshots either. =[

There was an option in-game to change resolutions, but it was definitely inaccurate.. Like I have a 1280x1024 screen but my settings were 1280x860? or something really different for it to fit perfectly. They might've fixed it now that since its OB, but I'm not sure.

whereisthelove i do know how to change the resolution, the problem its saved in binary in the file Fiesta\ressystem\Option.mco. If u want i can create a tool that changes the resolution for u. If u dont want that i can also create a patched Option.mco file that has already 800x600 in its settings.

But the option i would like most would be, that i create a guide telling u how to change the value on ure own. Plz tell me then how much experience u have
with hex editing. And even u dont know what hex editing is: that wouldnt be any problem because its not a hard task. it just sound fancy :)

Anyway if u have experience these will help:
Offset Description
39 Width
43 Heigth

Well if its for your entire computer screen, and its a windows PC, right click and go to properties, go to settings, and then there will be a bar where you can slide it back and forth.

I had my screen on 1280x1024, it worked good.

800x600 is too small, all icons and stuff are like too big, you cant open your inventory without it blocking 2/3 of your screen, while on 1280x you can open like a lot windows before it really blocks your screen.
